We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Allergy Technician/Medical Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will support allergy and immunology patient care by assisting with clinical procedures, managing patient intake, and ensuring smooth clinic operations. Your enthusiasm and commitment to patient service will help us deliver outstanding care in a fast-paced outpatient environment.
- Prepare and mix allergy immunotherapy treatment vials in accordance with physician orders, established clinic protocols and applicable safety and quality standards
- Accurately measure, label, document and organize allergen extracts for patient-specific immunotherapy treatment plan
- Collect and record vital signs, medical histories, and allergy-related information accurately in EHR (Electronic Health Record) systems - ECW
- Support patient intake processes by verifying insurance details, updating medical records, and explaining procedures clearly
- Monitor patient responses during procedures, ensuring safety and comfort at all times
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of clinical areas.
- Document all clinical activities thoroughly in compliance with medical terminology standards and ICD coding requirements Experience
- Manage inventory of allergen extracts, treatment supplies, syringes, labels and other related materials needed for daily job.
This is an in-person, full-time hourly position - Monday to Friday 8:00 to 4:30
