Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various types of truck driving, including flatbed trailers, 3 Quarter Ton Trucks, tankers. This role involves ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies. A strong focus on safety and efficiency is essential.
Responsibilities
- Operate different types of trucks including flatbed trailers, 3 Quarter Ton Trucks , for various deliveries.
- Drive manual transmission vehicles as required.
- Follow designated routes for deliveries while maintaining accurate delivery schedules.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety compliance.
- Ability to Throw / Check Straps & Forklifts Experience perferred ,but not needed when necessary for loading and unloading materials (Wood Pallets).
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) PERFERRED, BUT NOT REQUIRED.
- Proven experience in truck driving with a strong understanding of route driving principles.
- Familiarity with flatbed trailer, 3 Quarter Ton Trucks, and other vehicle types is preferred.
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles effectively.
- Experience as a delivery driver is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety regulations.
