About the Role:
Pallet Kings Liquidation is looking for a motivated and energetic Retail Store Assistant Manager to join our team in Medford, NY! Responsibilities:
- Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily retail store operations and staff performance
- Supervise, train, and motivate retail associates to deliver excellent customer service
- Manage merchandise flow, including receiving, sorting, and stocking liquidation inventory
- Monitor sales floor presentation, product pricing, and overall store appearance
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns in a professional manner
- Open and close the store, including cash handling, register reconciliation, and security procedures
- Support loss prevention efforts and ensure store policies and procedures are followed
Requirements:
- 1–3 years of retail management or supervisory experience required
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and develop a team
- Experience in liquidation, discount retail, or high-volume merchandise environments is a plus
- Solid understanding of inventory management and merchandising best practices
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods of time
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work a flexible schedule including weekends
- Also have knowledge about social media advertisement
