Palladin Precision Products specializes in Swiss-style CNC machining, Escomatic machining, and precision turned components serving a variety of industries, including defense and firearms-related manufacturing. Palladin is an ITAR-registered manufacturer and maintains strict compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements.
We are currently seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team.
Schedule
Monday – Thursday
6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Four-Day Work Week
Responsibilities
- Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of precision-machined components.
- Verify setup, in-process, and final inspections to ensure compliance with customer requirements.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T requirements.
- Utilize precision measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers, height gages, optical comparators, pin gages, thread gages, and other inspection equipment.
- Document inspection findings and maintain accurate quality records and reports.
- Communicate quality concerns, inspection results, and technical information to production personnel and management.
- Verify packaging, labeling, material handling, and storage requirements.
- Support corrective actions, process improvements, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist in maintaining compliance with company quality procedures and ISO 9001 requirements.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Experience inspecting precision-machined components required.
- Swiss machining, screw machine, or precision-machined component inspection experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T requirements
- Proficiency using precision measuring and inspection equipment.
- Knowledge of manufacturing and machining processes.
- Experience completing inspection reports and quality documentation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to visually inspect small precision components with and without magnification.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be eligible to work in an ITAR-controlled environment and comply with all applicable ITAR requirements.
