Overview
We are seeking a responsible and dedicated Short Order Cook to join our team at the State Line Lookout Cafe.
Duties
- Prepare all items listed on menu board, including specials
- Operate cooking equipment such as deep-fryers, griddles, and grills
- Multitask by cooking several different orders at once, ensuring that all items are prepared in accordance with customer instructions
- Maintain overall sanitation, health, cleanliness, and safety standards for food preparation areas, cooking services, and dishes and utensils
- Restock fridges, coolers, and ingredient containers
- Operate a Point-of-Sale system and take food orders (training will be provided).
Requirements
- Part-Time up to 28hrs weekly
- Valid driver's license
- Must be able to work well under pressure
- Must be able to lift at least 15 pounds
- Ability to maintain personal cleanliness
