We are a busy, well-established plastic surgery practice seeking a motivated Physician Assistant to joinour team. We specialize in cosmetic and reconstructive procedures with a strong emphasis onpatient-centered care, safety, and excellent outcomes.
Position Overview
The Physician Assistant will work closely with the plastic surgeon in clinic and procedural
settings. Responsibilities include patient consultations, pre/post-operative care, minor in-office
procedures, and assisting in surgery.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient consultations and evaluations
- Perform pre-operative and post-operative assessments
- First assist in the OR for cosmetic and reconstructive procedures
- Perform in-office procedures (suturing, lesion removal, injectables if experienced)
- Develop treatment plans and document in EMR
- Provide patient education and post-procedure instructions
- Manage follow-ups and address patient concerns
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff
Qualifications
- Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C)
- Active NJ state license (or eligible)
- Plastic surgery or surgical experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Comfortable in both clinic and OR settings
