This position performs day-to-day management and maintenance of all program schedules and applies knowledge of government acquisition processes, schedule performance assessments, and DoD performance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the preparation, execution, and maintenance of new or existing planning products.
- Develop and maintain Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) using Microsoft Project as the primary tool.
- Identify Critical/Driving Paths, perform probabilistic/deterministic risk analysis, and develop corrective actions.
- Support proposal submittal and execution schedule development aligned with DOW program milestones and complex frameworks such as DID 81650 and DCMA 14-point assessments.
- Support the implementation and monitoring of the Earned Value Management System through cost and schedule integration throughout the program lifecycle.
- Work closely with internal teams, subcontractors and clients to create, maintain and validate IMS accuracy.
- BS degree in engineering or related field minimum 5 yrs experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3 years of experience in planning or program management related discipline
- Experience with Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) development and maintenance
- Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) Development
- Experience applying government schedule performance tests, risk assessments, and WBS development aligned with DoD framework
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
- Expertise with Network scheduling tools such as MS Project, Primavera, etc. (MS Project preferred)
- Experience with critical path methodology and risk informed planning
- Strong briefing skills for presenting schedule performance to government stakeholders and leadership
- Ability to obtain DoD SECRET clearance
- Understanding of government scheduling requirements including Schedule Performance Tests (SPT), DCMA Schedule Health metrics, and IPMR/IPMDAR reporting expectations
- Knowledge of Schedule Performance Management Techniques such as Earned Value Management
- Knowledge of manufacturing production, facility planning, and/or defense armament related experience.
