Reach Beyond at PALFINGER as an Inventory Control Supervisor leading inventory control activities at our manufacturing facility in Council Bluffs, IA. In this role, you will ensure inventory accuracy, material availability, and efficient material flow throughout the operation. You will oversee inventory transactions, inventory accuracy initiatives, receiving and warehouse support, annual physical inventory activities, and continuous improvement efforts while partnering with Manufacturing, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Quality, and Warehouse teams. Reporting directly to the Production Manager, you will help ensure materials are available to support production schedules and customer commitments.

Your Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily inventory control activities, inventory transactions, adjustments, investigations, and reconciliations to ensure inventory accuracy and integrity.
• Monitor inventory levels and partner with Receiving, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Quality, and Warehouse teams to resolve discrepancies, shortages, and damaged materials.
• Lead cycle count programs, inventory accuracy initiatives, annual physical inventory, and pre-scan activities.
• Analyze inventory trends, develop inventory control procedures and standard work practices, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Direct the movement and storage of materials, maintain accurate digital records and documentation, and train team members on inventory processes, SAP transactions, and best practices.

Your Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of three years of inventory control, warehouse, or materials management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Previous leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience preferred.
• Experience with SAP or another ERP system, cycle count programs, and physical inventory processes preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with exceptional attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
