QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree from accredited college or university
At least one year of student teaching or approved internship
Valid Texas certification with required endorsements for subject/level assigned
General knowledge of curriculum and instruction
3 years experience
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Develop and effectively implement plans for the 7th - 12th grade football program
Provide positive leadership for the football program and staff
Make employment recommendations for football staff
Present subject matter according to guidelines established by Texas Education Agency, board policy, and administrative regulations
Create and ensure oversight of weight room facilities
Shall lead with other staff members in planning and implementing instructional goals, objectives, and methods according to district requirements
Create environment conducive to learning and appropriate for the physical, social, and emotional development of students
Shall keep informed of and comply with state, district, and school regulations and policies
Maintain professional relationship with colleagues, students, parents, and community members
SALARY:
Commensurate with experience
