Working Restaurant Manager

Job Summary

Duties

• Supervise all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation, service delivery, and staff management
• Lead and motivate team members through effective training, coaching, and performance evaluations
• Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, stock rotation, and minimizing waste
• Oversee POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to ensure accurate order processing and cash handling
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and food handling procedures
• Coordinate shift schedules, manage staffing levels, and handle shift management responsibilities to ensure smooth service flow
• Conduct regular staff training on food production, customer service excellence, and safety protocols
• Analyze profit and loss reports to identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost savings
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints promptly to uphold excellent service standards
• Oversee kitchen management tasks including food production quality control and culinary consistency

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food service management with a strong background in quick service & fast food restaurant environments or casual dining settings
• Demonstrated supervisory experience with team management, staff training, and interviewing skills
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; proficient in cash handling and basic math skills
• Knowledge of food safety management practices and food handling regulations
• Experience with inventory control, budgeting, and profit & loss analysis within the hospitality industry
• Strong leadership abilities with excellent managerial communication skills and the capacity to motivate teams
• Background in culinary arts or kitchen management is highly desirable; experience in fine dining or banquet settings is a plus
• Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of customer service
