Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment
- Execute daily cleaning, dish, and reset procedures
- Assist with prep, mise en place, and ingredient organization
- Support product builds (pizza, pinsa, bakery platforms)
- Assist in testing, bake evaluations, and line trials
- Document formulas, processes, and observations
- Support sample prep, labeling, and shipping
- Assist with customer visits, cuttings, and presentations
- Exposure to real-world food product development
- Experience in a high-functioning R&D kitchen
- Understanding of concept-to-production workflow
- Hands-on participation in customer-facing execution
- Enrolled in or recently graduated from a culinary program
- Strong work ethic and foundational kitchen skills
- Willingness to perform all aspects of kitchen work
- CIA or equivalent training
- Interest in product development
- Strong organization and attention to detail
- Maintains a clean, organized workspace without prompting
- Demonstrates strong attention to detail
- Takes feedback well and improves quickly
- Executes prep independently and supports test builds
- Summer (May–August)
- 30–40 hours/week
- Occasional long days based on testing and customer visits
- Top-performing interns may be considered for future roles within the organization.
