What You'll Do...
As an R&D Lab Tech, you will support the daily operations of our R&D Lab. Your responsibilities will include:
- Sample Inspection: Examine production samples at various stages to ensure consistency and quality.
- Lab Preparation: Perform opening tasks to ensure the lab is ready for on-time start-up.
- Sample Management: Prepare and ship samples to customers using preferred carriers.
- Product Preparation: Assist in preparing samples for both new and existing products.
- Organization: Adhere to weekly duty lists and maintain a clean, organized lab environment.
- Event Support: Help set up special events, including product cuttings and demonstrations.
- Inventory Management: Monitor materials, replenish stock, dispose of expired products, and inform the Lab Coordinator of inventory needs.
- Compliance: Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and assist in updating them as necessary.
- Quality & Safety: Comply with leadership directions regarding quality, safety, and company policies, promoting a safe work environment.

What You'll Bring...
- Education: High School Diploma required; Associate Degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a lab, production, bakery, or kitchen environment preferred.
- Skills:
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong oral and written communication abilities.
- Excellent organizational skills with a focus on detail and accuracy.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse team members.
- Innovative thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to talk and hear clearly.
- Frequently required to sit and use hands/fingers for keyboard tasks.
- Occasionally required to stand, walk, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
