When you’ll work… The R&D Lab Technician role works predominantly day shift hours with occasional evenings to complete projects or support company and industry events. What You'll Do... As an R&D Lab Technician, you will support the daily operations of our R&D Lab. Your responsibilities will include: Sample Inspection: Examine production samples at various stages to ensure consistency and quality. Lab Preparation: Perform opening tasks to ensure the lab is ready for on-time start-up. Sample Management: Prepare and ship samples to customers using preferred carriers. Product Preparation: Assist in preparing samples for both new and existing products. Organization: Adhere to weekly duty lists and maintain a clean, organized lab environment. Event Support: Help set up special events, including product cuttings and demonstrations. Inventory Management: Monitor materials, replenish stock, dispose of expired products, and inform the Lab Coordinator of inventory needs. Compliance: Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and assist in updating them as necessary. Quality & Safety: Comply with leadership directions regarding quality, safety, and company policies, promoting a safe work environment. Why You'll Succeed... Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse team members. Innovative thinking and problem-solving skills. Physical Requirements... Ability to talk and hear clearly. Frequently required to sit and use hands/fingers for keyboard tasks. Occasionally required to stand, walk, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
