Position Summary
We are seeking an Assistant Studio Manager who is organized, energetic, people-oriented, and highly dependable to help support the day-to-day success of the studio. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining sales, hospitality, operations, customer service, and team coordination in a fast-paced boutique fitness environment.
The Assistant Studio Manager will play a critical role in helping us deliver an exceptional member experience while supporting lead follow-up, tours, membership sales, studio operations, team coordination, and retention efforts. This person should be equally comfortable welcoming a new prospect, solving a member issue, following up on leads, supporting the coaching team, and helping ensure that the studio runs smoothly every day.
This is not just a front desk role. It is an opportunity to help build and grow a new fitness brand in the U.S. market.
Key Responsibilities
Sales and Lead Management
- Respond promptly to leads from phone, email, website, social media, and walk-ins
- Schedule intro sessions, tours, and first visits
- Conduct studio tours and clearly communicate the PaleoTraining experience, memberships, and promotions
- Follow up consistently with prospective members and trial participants
- Help convert leads into memberships
- Track lead activity, appointments, and conversion performance in the studio CRM or membership system
Member Experience and Retention
- Deliver a warm, polished, high-touch experience for every member and guest
- Help create a strong first impression for new members from their initial inquiry through onboarding
- Build relationships with members and help foster a strong sense of community
- Address questions, concerns, and service issues quickly and professionally
- Support retention efforts through follow-up, check-ins, and consistent member engagement
- Help organize events, challenges, outreach, and community-building initiatives
Studio Operations
- Assist with opening and closing procedures
- Help ensure the studio remains clean, organized, fully stocked, and visually polished
- Support daily administrative tasks and operational processes
- Assist with scheduling, coach coordination, and class coverage communication
- Maintain strong attention to detail across all member-facing and back-of-house operations
- Help monitor supplies, inventory, and general studio readiness
Team Support
- Work closely with studio leadership and coaches to ensure a seamless member experience
- Communicate effectively regarding member feedback, schedule changes, studio priorities, and operational needs
- Help maintain a positive, accountable, high-performance culture
- Support onboarding and training of new team members as needed
Qualifications
- 4 years of experience in fitness, hospitality, retail, wellness, customer service, or service-based operations preferred
- Experience in membership sales, studio operations, front desk leadership, or customer-facing business environments strongly preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to follow through consistently
- Comfortable balancing hospitality and relationship-building with sales and performance goals
- Confident managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Professional, dependable, and solution-oriented
- Passion for fitness, wellness, and community-building
- Availability for a mix of mornings, evenings, and weekends based on studio needs
Preferred Qualifications
- Boutique fitness studio experience
- Experience with lead follow-up and membership conversion
- Experience using scheduling, CRM, or member management systems
- CPR/AED certification or willingness to obtain
- NASM, ACE, or similar fitness certification is a plus, but not required

Schedule
- Full-time and Part-time opportunities available
- Must be available for a mix of early mornings, evenings, and weekends
Compensation
- $50,000–$60,000 base salary plus uncapped bonus and commission opportunities
