Palcare is a non profit child care center founded 30 years ago. We serve infant to pre kindergarteners in a developmentally oriented program. We operate with flexible schedules for many families who work at San Francisco Airport and for other essential workers. Experience and Education Requirements:
- Teacher : 12 - 24 units of child development including core ECE classes; at least 50 days of teaching experience.
- :Master Teacher -24 units of ECE, including core classes plus 2 units of adult Supervision and at least 175 days of teaching experience.
- Hold or eligible to apply for Teacher, Master Teacher or higher Permit from the State of California Commission on Teacher Credentialing.
- Must include the 3units in ECE Infant/Toddler Development/Environment.
Additional Requirements:
- Good health as confirmed by a physician’s statement.
- Proof of being free or immune to tuberculosis, pertussis, measles & flu
- Must be able to lift and carry a 50-pound object.
- Must be able to see clearly, with or without corrective lenses, for a distance of 30 feet.
- Must be able to walk and run.
- Must be able to speak/read English clearly enough to be understood by adults.
Salary Ranges
- Teacher $ 28.82- 30.51
- Master Teacher $ 31.38- 33.22
