Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and friendly Optical Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist patients with selecting eyewear while providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience. This role requires strong organizational skills, product knowledge, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting.
Duties
-Assist patients in selecting prescription eyeglasses and sunglasses based on their needs and preferences.
-Accurately enter eyewear orders into the computer system and submit them to the appropriate lab.
-Provide product knowledge on frames, lenses, and lens options.
-Adjust and repair eyeglasses as needed to ensure proper fit and comfort.
-Dispense completed eyewear and review proper use and care with patients.
-Maintain organization of optical inventory and displays.
-Support daily office operations and work collaboratively with team members.

Preferred (Not Required)
-Previous experience in optical sales or a similar retail environment.
-Experience with vision insurance plans is preferred but not required.
-LDO (Licensed Optician) certification is not required but is a plus.
