Edgebrook Community Center (ECC) Site Director
Position Summary
The Edgebrook Community Center program provides academic enrichment and structures activities in a safe after school environment. Staff will inspire up to 25 students through engaging academic tutoring, enriching activities, and fun recreational opportunities. Children attending will be bused from local elementary schools in District 15, these young learners will embark on a journey of growth and discovery. The program runs 12-15 hours per week, from 4:15 pm to 7:15 pm, fostering a vibrant and supportive environment for all.
Minimum Requirements
- Must have experience working with youth, punctual, friendly, organized, well-spoken, must be willing to take the initiative and lead by example
- Must be able to work with a variety of staff, volunteers and professionals within the community
- Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be capable of handling emergency situations and document accordingly, willingness to stay engaged throughout the duration of program, ability to build healthy relationships within community with children and families
- Bilingual (English & Spanish) required
