Role Description The Security Site Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Hillsboro, OR, responsible for overseeing day-to-day security operations at the assigned location. This role includes supervising security officers, organizing schedules and post assignments, and ensuring adherence to company policies and site-specific procedures. The Security Site Supervisor monitors physical security conditions, conducts patrols and inspections, responds to incidents, and coordinates with client representatives and internal leadership. Daily tasks include preparing reports, maintaining logs, supporting emergency responses, and providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to team members. The role also involves fostering a professional, customer-focused environment while ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated Supervisory Skills, including team leadership, coaching, scheduling, and performance management.
- Strong Physical Security knowledge, with experience in access control, patrols, incident response, and security systems monitoring.
- Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, visitors, and team members.
- Proven Customer Service abilities, with a focus on problem-solving, de-escalation, and maintaining a courteous, professional presence.
- Experience in Operations Management, including report writing, policy adherence, and coordinating daily site activities.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional security, criminal justice, or related education or certifications are an asset.
- Prior security, law enforcement, or military experience preferred, along with knowledge of emergency procedures and safety protocols.
- Ability to meet physical requirements of the role, work various shifts as needed, and successfully complete all required background checks and training.
