Security Officer- Armed Experience Required

We are hiring Part-Time Security Officers for a new site in Bethlehem with the opportunity to become armed certified, and we provide assistance throughout the armed certification process. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age, possess a personal firearm and duty belt, have tactical experience, and be able to stand and walk indoors and outdoors for up to eight hours. Candidates must also demonstrate strong communication and de-escalation skills and be available to work evenings and weekends.

Job Summary:

• Maintain the security and safety of the assigned site through regular patrols
• Actively enforce rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
• Respond to emergency situations and provide security assistance
• Engage with the public to offer assistance and directions
• Monitor closed-circuit television for potential issues

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Maintain a physical presence within the facility as a visible deterrent to illegal activity
• Provide superior customer care to enhance the facility's atmosphere
• Keep accurate logs and write detailed incident reports
• Prevent unauthorized access to the area and items within

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Must be 21 years old
• Must have valid armed license where required
• Strong commitment to the well-being of others
• Ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficient in using computer systems and applications

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least one year of related experience
• Active Armed Security license
• Valid Driver's License

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting and/or standing for up to 4 hours
• Foot patrol and ability to lift up to 15 pounds
• Must stay alert at all times
