As a Healthcare Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in providing top-notch security services to hospital personnel, vendors, patients, and visitors. This position offers the opportunity to learn valuable skills in de-escalation, incident reporting, and emergency response.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Screen and direct visitors, enforce hospital guidelines, and issue passes
- Conduct patrols to detect safety hazards and unauthorized individuals
- Maintain accurate documentation and prepare incident reports
- Respond to emergencies and calls for service with professionalism
- Escort personnel, control visitor access, and assist with patient transfers
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in law enforcement, military police, or security
- Ability to lift and drag 50 pounds
- Proficiency in MS Word and basic computer knowledge
- Valid government-issued ID and security officer/guard license
Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks
