You will also have the opportunity to learn valuable skills such as verbal de-escalation and customer care.What you will doWalk and stand for prolonged periods of timeWear body armor, duty belt with handcuffs, baton, radio, flashlight, and first aid kitEngage in high volume face-to-face public interactionsWrite detailed and accurate reports on incidentsMaintain a physical presence as a deterrent to illegal activityEnsure safety and security of site staff and visitorsProvide empathetic approach to managing escalated situationsContribute to the overall experience by providing superior customer careYou will be a great fit if youAre at least 21 years of ageHave a minimum of 2 years' Security or Military experienceHave a valid driver’s license with a clean driving recordAre able to provide proof of High School diploma, GED or higher education.Possess a valid Washington State Security LicenseHave effective verbal and written communication skillsEnjoy working with the public and providing excellent customer service*Please note, successful candidates must complete a mandatory 5-day paid training course in Renton* If you do not have a Washington State Security License, you will be responsible for paying the fees to obtain one. The 2024 SGL costs are $31.05 for fingerprints and $101.00 for the License application.
