What are the responsibilities and job description for the Wyoming Title Landman position at Paladin Land Group, LLC?
Experienced Wyoming Due Diligence Landmen (MUST BE WILLING TO TRAVEL)
Candidates must have a strong foundation in Wyoming oil and gas title and acquisition due diligence involving Mineral, Leasehold, ORRI and Working Interests. Significant experience running mineral title, working interest title, HBP and depth-severed title is required, along with a thorough understanding of Wyoming statutes, case law, recording requirements, probate, conveyancing and curative standards applicable to real property and mineral ownership.
Candidates should also have comprehensive knowledge of surface and split-estate issues, state and federal lease restrictions, communitization and unitization, spacing and statutory pooling, and regulatory matters involving the Wyoming Oil and Gas Conservation Commission (WOGCC), Wyoming Office of State Lands and Investments (OSLI), State Board of Land Commissioners, Bureau of Land Management (BLM), and Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA), where applicable.
Prior experience conducting acquisition diligence across fee, state, federal and tribal or allotted lands in Wyoming is strongly preferred.
