Legal On-Site Specialist

Newark, NJ

Contract with potential to Convert Full Time

Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:30pm

Requires high school diploma or GED and 2 years of experience in a related field.


Job Description:

This position is responsible for the operation of a mail and copy center supporting a law firm in downtown Newark.

Primary duties will include copy/print production with various forms of finishing and binding (GBC, tabs, spiral, velobind, etc) to meet client specifications.

Converting hard copy originals into digital format.

Inbound mail processing via a digital mail system and delivery as well as conference room and hospitality set up.

Shipping and receiving may require some heavy lifting but does not require heavy lifting beyond the weight of a case of paper (40-50lbs at most).

About 50% of the contingent worker's day will be spent walking the floors and the other 50% in the center where they can sit.

Skills:

  • Must have at least 1 year of experience working in a corporate office environment.
  • Copy Production experience (running complex print jobs involving various binding and finishing requirements) is absolutely critical.
  • Customer Service, role requires interacting with attorneys and paralegals.
  • Multitask with mail, copy jobs and consistent email communication into the center from users with questions, etc.
  • Experience in delivering classroom and/or informal training sessions.
  • Experience in operation of the most advanced machines, performing complex jobs.
  • Lead and train employees.
  • Dress Code: Business Casual
