What are the responsibilities and job description for the Castle Park -Part-Time Painter I position at Palace Entertainment?
Summary:
The Painter paints, finishes, and maintains a wide variety of interior and exterior surfaces throughout the park.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Must have knowledge of paints, their applications, and proper disposal procedures
Operate, clean, and maintain all painting equipment including brushes, rollers and airless sprayers
Prepare, prime, sand, seal, patch and paint furniture, surfaces, buildings, and fixtures
Safely store and label all material
Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
Assist in ordering materials for projects and assigned tasks
Ability to work with minimal direction and supervision
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Comply with all park policies, procedures, and labor laws
Other:
Must be 18 years or older
Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Must be able to work in all weather conditions and elements including the direct sun with no shade, cold, rain, dust, and all other outdoor weather elements
Must be able to stand, kneel, walk, stoop, and bend
Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 75lbs
Must be able to work at heights in excess of 100 feet
Must possess the physical capabilities necessary to perform the job duties
