Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Clerk to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including order fulfillment, shipping and receiving, stocking, and inventory management. This role requires familiarity with warehouse management systems and equipment such as RF scanners, pallet jacks, reach trucks, and forklifts. The Clerk will play a vital role in ensuring efficient warehouse distribution and maintaining accurate records for e-commerce and retail orders.
Responsibilities
- Assist with order picking and packing to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders
- Operate warehouse equipment including pallet jacks, reach trucks, forklifts, and RF scanners safely and efficiently
- Manage shipping and receiving processes, including loading and unloading shipments
- Maintain organized stock levels through proper stocking and inventory management using warehouse management systems (WMS) and AS400
- Support order fulfillment activities such as packaging, order picking, and load & unload operations
- Utilize basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and data entry
- Ensure safety procedures are followed during all warehouse activities
- Support warehouse distribution tasks to optimize workflow and productivity
Qualifications
- Previous experience in warehouse management system (WMS) operations or warehouse distribution preferred
- Proficiency with RF scanners, AS400, MRP systems, and order picker equipment is a plus
- Ability to operate forklift, reach truck, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment safely
- Experience with shipping & receiving, stock management, and order fulfillment processes
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory control
- Basic math skills for counting, measurements, and data entry tasks
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards
- Prior warehouse experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for qualified candidates
