Business Development Executive

Responsibilities

• Identify, generate, and close new business opportunities to meet growth objectives.
• Manage and nurture current customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
• Demonstrate thorough understanding of regulatory compliance and manufacturing processes; apply them to sales strategies.
• Utilize expertise in packettes/satchets development to enhance value propositions and customer solutions.
• Lead and contribute to project status meetings and new product development initiatives.
• Create annual sales goals and develop action plans with supervisor input to meet those targets.
• Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., R&D, operations, quality) to support timely and efficient execution of client projects.
• Work independently while maintaining active communication with management and cross-functional teams.
• Maintain accurate documentation of sales activity, forecasts, and expense reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred.
• Experience in the health and beauty industry, specifically within contract manufacturing for skin care, hair care, or OTC products.
• Proven track record in business development and sales roles, ideally in a manufacturing or packaging environment.

Fiscal Responsibilities and Other Requirements

• Responsible for submitting personal expense reports accurately and on time.
• Develops and maintains annual sales forecasts, revising as needed based on market dynamics.
• This position requires the ability to travel, including outside of regular business hours, to attend client meetings, trade shows, and industry events.

Pay range and compensation package - $75,000-$150,000 DOE
