Role Description The Maintenance Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Lancaster, NH, responsible for overseeing all maintenance activities within the manufacturing facility. This role manages and schedules preventive maintenance programs, coordinates equipment repairs, and ensures machinery and building systems operate safely and efficiently. The Maintenance Manager supervises maintenance technicians, assigns daily tasks, and monitors performance to maintain consistent production uptime. Day-to-day responsibilities include troubleshooting equipment issues, maintaining maintenance records, collaborating with operations and safety teams, managing maintenance budgets, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The role may also involve vendor coordination for parts and service, adherence to regulatory and safety standards, and participation in planning for new equipment installations or upgrades.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong supervisory skills and experience leading maintenance teams or technical staff.
- Candidates should possess solid equipment maintenance and maintenance & repair skills for manufacturing and facility systems.
- Candidates should possess experience with preventive maintenance programs and maintenance management processes.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of safety regulations, industrial best practices, and basic troubleshooting for mechanical and electrical systems.
- Relevant experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably packaging or related industries, is highly beneficial.
