The District is accepting applications for temporary and on-call job assignments for the positions of Instructional Assistant Moderate/Severe, Instructional Assistant Mild/Moderate, and Behavior Technician. The District requires completion of an AA degree or equivalent post-secondary education, or the ability to pass an equivalency exam provided by the District. Specific experience working with children in a classroom or other organized setting is required; experience with individuals who have special needs is highly desirable. Must have or be willing to successfully complete training in the specialized techniques, strategies, and procedures required for each assignment.
Individuals interested in employment are required to complete an official district application. Applicants are asked to describe any training, education, experience or skills relevant to this position. Resumes are optional. Applications will be screened based on the minimum qualifications shown for the position. Qualified candidates will be identified at each step of the selection process for further competition. Fingerprinting and criminal record checks will be done on all prospective employees.
