Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Enrollment Technician to support early education programs through efficient student enrollment processes. This role is vital in ensuring smooth registration, accurate record-keeping, and effective communication with prospective and current students. Under the direction of an assigned administrator, conduct outreach, recruitment, and enrollment activities for early education programs, including but not limited to Transitional Kindergarten (TK), CSPP, CMIG, and CCTR. Interview and assist families with the registration process, ensuring compliance with state and federal requirements. Maintain accurate and auditable records, and serve as a liaison between administrators, families, and community partners.
Responsibilities
- Conduct outreach to families for selected programs; explain complex eligibility and registration requirements in accordance with California Department of Education (CDE), California Department of Social Services (CDSS), Title 5, Title 22, and federal regulations.
- Interview and assess families to determine program eligibility; review documentation such as income verification, employment status, immunization, medical, and child development needs.
- Assist families with completing and submitting enrollment forms and applications; ensure accuracy and completeness of eligibility and enrollment.
- Support families in transitioning children between early childhood education programs including Transitional Kindergarten (TK).
- Interpret, apply, and communicate laws, codes, and regulations governing program enrollment, registration, and reporting.
- Ensure enrollment and attendance records are compliant with state and federal audit requirements.
- Prepare compliance-related reports and submit accurate data to internal administrators, CDE, and other oversight agencies.
- Support audits, monitoring visits, and reviews by maintaining organized, auditable files of eligibility and enrollment documentation.
- Connect families with community resources (health, nutrition, housing, counseling, disability support).
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school and two years of increasingly responsible clerical, enrollment, or social services experience involving frequent public contact. Experience in early education, Head Start, state preschool, or CDE-subsidized programs is desired.

Pay: $3,597.00 - $4,592.00 per month
