Job Summary
The Director provides strategic leadership, oversight, and direction for districtwide planning, coordination, and implementation of cross-departmental initiatives that advance the District’s instructional, operational, and student-support priorities. This position is not tied to a single department and functions as a system-level leadership role, ensuring alignment, coherence, effective execution of Board priorities, the LCAP, and Superintendent - directed initiatives. Under the direction of the Executive Director or designee, the Director leads complex initiatives, facilitates collaboration across departments and school sites, and supports executive leadership and the Board of Trustees through analysis, reporting, and strategic recommendations. Position begins July 1, 2026
Requirements / Qualifications
Materials • Valid California Administrative Services Credential • Valid California Teaching Credential • ELA authorization (CLAD or equivalent) • Completed EdJoin application • Cover Letter • (3) Three letters of recommendation, (1) One from current supervisor; all within the last 2 years. • Current Resume
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required; Master’s degree or advanced degree preferred. Valid administrative and/or supervisory credential preferred. Teaching credential and classroom experience preferred. Minimum of five (5) years of experience in educational leadership, district-level program management, or a related field. Experience working at both the site and district level preferred.
