Full-time positions are eligible for the higher end of the range ($30/hour). About the RolePaisanos Pizzeria is seeking a seasoned, experienced pizza maker who takes pride in crafting high-quality, consistent pies. This is not an entry-level position. We want someone who already knows their way around a pizza station, can work efficiently under pressure, and upholds strong standards for dough handling, topping consistency, and oven management.Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and stretch dough to exact specifications
- Assemble pizzas with precision, speed, and consistency during peak hours
- Operate and manage pizza ovens (temperature control, rotation, timing)
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and portion control
- Keep the pizza station clean, organized, and fully stocked
- Follow recipes and food-safety procedures exactly
- Work efficiently as part of a fast-paced kitchen team
Requirements
- Proven experience as a pizza maker (seasoned candidates strongly preferred)
- Strong knowledge of dough handling, sauce, cheese, and topping techniques
- Ability to work quickly and accurately during busy service periods
- Reliable, consistent, and professional work ethic
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Flexible availability, including nights and weekends
