Field Sales Representative

Job Summary

PaintPerfect OHIO is a fast-growing, family-owned painting company based in Delaware, Ohio, and we are looking for two motivated Field Sales Representatives to join our team this summer. Your role is straightforward — walk residential neighborhoods, identify homes that could benefit from an exterior paint job, and book a free estimate appointment for our team. You are not closing sales. You are starting conversations and opening doors, connecting homeowners with a company that has built a strong reputation for quality work and exceptional service across Delaware County. This is a commission-based position with no cap on earnings and flexible hours designed around when homeowners are actually home. Responsibilities

• Walk assigned residential neighborhoods in Delaware, Lewis Center, and surrounding areas to identify homes in need of exterior painting.
• Engage homeowners in friendly, professional door-to-door conversations to introduce PaintPerfect OHIO's services.
• Identify visual signs that a home may need painting, such as peeling, fading, or worn exterior surfaces.
• Present our services clearly and confidently, answering basic questions about what we offer.
• Schedule and confirm free estimate appointments on behalf of our team
• Enter all leads, homeowner information, and appointment details directly into our field management software to ensure accurate tracking and follow-up.
• Leave branded door hangers or informational materials at homes where no one answers.
• Track daily activity, including doors knocked, conversations had, and appointments booked.
• Meet or exceed a weekly appointment booking target set by management
• Represent PaintPerfect OHIO's brand and reputation with honesty, professionalism, and respect for every homeowner at all times.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older with reliable personal transportation to travel to assigned neighborhoods.
• Highly personable, outgoing, and confident when engaging with members of the public in a professional setting.
• Prior experience in a customer-facing role is strongly preferred, including but not limited to retail, food and beverage service, hospitality, or any position requiring consistent public interaction.
• College students and recent graduates are welcome and encouraged to apply — this position offers flexible scheduling and valuable real-world sales and communication experience.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage personal time effectively, and operate with minimal supervision in a field-based environment.
• Strong sense of personal accountability and reliability — candidates must be committed to honoring their schedule and representing the PaintPerfect OHIO brand with professionalism and integrity.
• Basic proficiency with mobile technology required — representatives will be expected to enter lead and appointment information into PaintScout, our field management platform, directly from their device.
• Resilience and a positive attitude are essential — the ability to maintain energy and professionalism through rejection is a core requirement of this role and will be weighted heavily in the selection process.

Pay: $400.00 - $1,200.00 per week
