Job Overview
We are seeking a hard working and detail-oriented Project Manager to lead painting projects from start to finish. This pivotal role involves coordinating all phases of a job, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in management, painting, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to motivate teams to achieve outstanding results. Join us to drive impactful projects that shape communities and infrastructure while advancing your career in a dynamic environment. Starting salary is $50,000 a year to manage 2 crews which is not super time consuming, we will be looking to onboard a 3rd crew after you start and whenever that happens a raise to $75,000 /yr will be issued based on performance. There is also bonus opportunites.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the planning, execution, and closing of construction projects, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
- Coordinate project activities with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to facilitate seamless communication and workflow.
- Read and interpret contracts to ensure project specifications are accurately followed.
- Manage project documentation including contracts, change orders, RFIs (Request for Information), and progress reports.
- Conduct site visits to assess construction progress, enforce safety protocols, and resolve on-site issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct pre-job meetings the day before we start with every customer, and stop in to check progress everyday on our projects.
Requirements
- Proven experience in management with a strong understanding of project scheduling.
- Hands-on painting/staining experience with the ability to read contracts and lead efficiently.
- Knowledge of contracts administration, change order procedures, and legal aspects related to construction projects.
- Excellent project coordination skills with a focus on time management and resource optimization.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with clients, teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail under tight deadlines.
