Job Overview
Job Title: Part-Time Business Manager (Events & Operations)
Paintball Ridge is a long-standing paintball park and pro shop serving players across the Four-State area. We’re hiring a dependable, people-first Business Manager to help run day-to-day operations, support weekend play, and drive smooth, profitable events.
What you’ll do
- Manage weekend operations: check-in, waivers, scheduling, customer flow, and field rotations.
- Coordinate staff/referees: assignments, coverage, and coaching.
- Run group events (birthdays, corporate, youth groups): booking, communication, and day-of execution.
- Handle register and closeout: cash handling, deposits, and basic reporting.
- Keep pro shop and rentals ready: inventory, supplies, and gear readiness.
- Maintain a clean, safe, customer-ready facility; solve problems fast during busy times.
What we’re looking for
- Strong customer service and communication (you’ll be the face of the business).
- Comfort leading a small team and making real-time decisions.
- Basic math computer skills (POS, scheduling, simple spreadsheets).
- Reliable transportation and consistent weekend availability.
- Retail, hospitality, recreation, or event coordination experience is a plus.
Compensation
Base pay is $15.00/hour with added compensation tied to event profits. We’ll explain the profit-share/bonus structure clearly during the interview.
Schedule
Part-time, 3-day work week (most often aligned to open play days and booked events). Typical operating days are Friday through Sunday. Flexibility is needed!
