Field Leader/Foreman Position
Job Overview: As a Field Leader/Foreman, you will play an active role in overseeing, coordinating, and participating in field operations. You will be responsible for leading a team of workers, ensuring safety protocols are adhered to, managing schedules, and maintaining high-quality standards. Ideally this will be accomplished using strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a solid understanding of relevant Paint Ninjas Inc. field operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of workers to achieve project objectives efficiently and effectively.
- Coordination: Coordinate daily activities including; scheduling tasks, allocating resources, and ensuring that deadlines are met.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for all team members.
- Quality Assurance: Oversee work quality and ensure that projects meet specified standards and requirements.
- Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Problem Solving: Address any issues or conflicts that arise during field operations, implementing effective solutions to minimize disruptions.
- Communication: Maintain clear and open communication with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow and project progress reporting.
- Resource Management: Manage equipment, materials, and other resources efficiently to optimize productivity and minimize waste.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work activities, including daily reports and change orders, progress updates, and any incidents or accidents that occur on site.
- Customer Relations: Interface with clients, subcontractors, and other necessary parties to provide updates, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a leadership role, preferably in construction or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of field operations, including construction techniques, equipment usage, and safety procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse team members.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make decisions under pressure.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and other technical documents.
- 10 years of experience in Painting, Fireproofing. Epoxy Coatings or other relevant experience
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to different job sites as needed.
- Certification in relevant fields (e.g., OSHA safety certification) is a plus.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Additional certification or vocational training in construction management or a related field is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, climb ladders, and perform other physically demanding tasks as needed.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
