POSITION OVERVIEW
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to plan, coordinate, and oversee our sandblasting and painting projects from start to finish. You will lead field crews, manage client relationships, and ensure every project is delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Planning & Execution
- Plan, schedule, and manage sandblasting and painting projects across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors
- Conduct pre-job site assessments to evaluate surface conditions and project requirements
- Develop detailed scopes of work, timelines, and cost estimates
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments to meet deadlines and budgets
Team & Resource Management
- Supervise field crews, subcontractors, and equipment operators on active job sites
- Manage labor scheduling and ensure adequate staffing for all projects
- Source and coordinate materials, equipment, and supplies
- Provide coaching and performance feedback to field personnel
Quality & Safety
- Enforce OSHA regulations and company safety policies on all job sites
- Ensure all work meets SSPC/NACE/ISO 8501 surface preparation and coating standards
- Conduct quality control inspections at all project phases
- Maintain detailed inspection records, daily logs, and project documentation
Client Relations
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout each project
- Communicate project updates, milestones, and issues proactively
- Resolve client concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction and repeat business
Financial Management
- Monitor project budgets and control costs to meet profitability targets
- Review and approve material purchases, subcontractor invoices, and expenses
- Assist with bids, proposals, and change orders in coordination with the estimating team

QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 2 years of project management experience in sandblasting, industrial painting, or protective coatings
- Proven experience managing projects across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors
- Strong knowledge of surface preparation methods: abrasive blasting, power tool cleaning, water jetting
- Familiarity with coating systems: epoxy, polyurethane, zinc-rich primers, intumescent coatings
- Understanding of SSPC, NACE, and PDCA standards
- Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and coating specifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Preferred Certifications (assets, not required)
- NACE/AMPP Coating Inspector Level 1 or higher
- SSPC Protective Coatings Specialist (PCS)
- First Aid / CPR
- Confined Space Entry and Working at Heights
