Role Description This full-time Painter role is an on-site position based in Philadelphia, PA. The Painter will prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, patching, and priming, and will apply paints, stains, and coatings to interior and exterior surfaces according to project specifications. Day-to-day tasks include mixing paint to match colors, protecting surrounding areas, and using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment to achieve consistent, professional finishes. The role involves reading and following job instructions, collaborating with other crew members, maintaining tools and equipment, and adhering to safety and quality standards on every job.
Qualifications
- Ability to work with different types of paint and coatings and select appropriate products for various surfaces.
- Proficiency in painting and decorating, including surface preparation, cutting-in, and finishing details.
- Experience with general painting techniques for interior and exterior projects.
- Skill in spray painting and safe operation of spray equipment.
