Job Overview
PainStop Spine Clinic is a dedicated medical practice focused on providing top-tier care for patients experiencing spine-related issues all across the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Our mission is to deliver compassionate and effective treatments to enhance our patients quality of life. We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Office Support Assistant to join our team. This role will provide support to our clinic's administrative operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be adaptable, and demonstrate a professional, honest, and hardworking attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with various tasks as needed—flexibility in both tasks and scheduling is essential to success in this position.
- Welcome and assist patients, visitors, and staff with professionalism and friendliness.
- Handle incoming and outgoing communication via mail, email, phone, fax, and face-to-face interactions.
- Manage appointment scheduling for company leadership and maintain accurate and efficient calendars.
- Organize and manage filing systems for both administrative documentation and medical records.
- Ensure the accuracy and confidentiality of patient records and confidential administrative documents.
- Manage inventory and order office supplies and equipment as needed.
- Communicate effectively with patients, employees, supervisors, vendors, and contractors.
- Be available for short-distance business travel as required.
- Perform other administrative tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred); additional qualifications in office administration or a related field are advantageous.
- Typing speed of at least 30 WPM, a pre-employment typing test will be conducted.
- Proficiency with office equipment such as scanners, computers, and printers.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from work location and for occasional local travel.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
- Must be trustworthy, organized, and capable of maintaining confidentiality.
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
- Strong multitasking skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
