We are seeking a friendly and organized Front Desk Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our Multidisciplined Medical Office. In this role, you will manage the front desk operations, ensuring a welcoming environment while providing exceptional customer service. You will handle various administrative tasks, support office functions, and maintain effective communication within the team.
Duties
- Greet and assist patients in a professional and courteous manner.
- Answer phone calls promptly, directing inquiries to the appropriate personnel.
- Manage appointment scheduling and maintain an organized calendar.
- Perform clerical tasks including data entry and document preparation.
- Maintain the front desk area.
- Operate phone systems effectively to ensure clear communication.
Skills
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Previous EMR experience is required. Experience in ModMed is a plus.
- Excellent phone etiquette to create a positive impression on callers.
- Proficient typing skills for efficient data entry and correspondence.
- Previous experience in a front desk or receptionist role at a Medical office is required.
- Exceptional customer service skills to engage with clients/patients positively.
- Basic clerical skills to support office operations smoothly.
- Computer literacy to navigate various software applications efficiently.
- Attention to detail.
