Position Overview
Hybrid clinical light front-desk role supporting physicians and nursing staff. Ideal for someone adaptable, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a procedural environment.
Responsibilities
Clinical
- Prepare and turnover exam/procedure rooms
- Obtain and document patient history, vitals, and test results in EMR
- Routine screening (BP, height, weight)
- Assist physicians during exams and procedures
- Learn and practice braces/corsets and electrical physical therapies
- Basic clinical tasks may include dressing changes and phlebotomy
- Clean and occasionally sterilize equipment
- Maintain supplies and inventory
Administrative
- Scheduling and patient calls
- Front desk support as needed
- Possible insurance prior authorizations
Duties may evolve based on clinic needs.
Qualifications
Required
- Medical Assistant diploma (or equivalent)
- Willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid and HIPAA certification
- Ability to meet applicable vaccination/regulatory requirements
Preferred (Not Required)
- 1–2 years clinical experience
- CMA certification
- Experience in procedural or specialty settings
Expectations
Prior experience with our EMR, workflow, or specialty-specific techniques is not required. Motivated candidates will be trained on the technical and procedural skills used in our practice.
