Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in an outpatient setting.
- Conduct thorough diagnostic evaluations and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Perform sutures and other necessary medical procedures with precision.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation using eClinicalWorks or similar systems.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and recovery processes.
- Participate in memory care programs for patients with cognitive impairments.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Proven experience in emergency medicine, trauma medicine, or ICU nursing preferred.
- Strong skills in diagnostic evaluation and medical documentation.
- Ability to perform clinical procedures effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
