What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk / Medical Assistant position at Pain Management Strategies?
Busy pain management practice is seeking someone to join our team who will divide their time between working as a medical assistant and working at the front desk.
Responsibilities:
- Liaison between patient and providers during the work day
- Assists with scheduling appointments and requesting referrals for office visits and procedures
- Answer phones and back up the front office team
- Medical records requests
- Assists physician with procedures
- Perform routine clinical tasks to support physician and nurse practitioner
- Escort patients to exam rooms
- Collect vitals from patient and enter into EMR
Qualifications:
- Previous medical assistant experience needed
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and multi task
- Spanish speaking is a plus
