What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant position at Pain Management Group?
Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant will work in collaboration with the physician(s) in the hospital-based, outpatient setting with patients who have chronic pain. They will require a high level of independent clinical decision-making in a fast-paced environment.
No nights. No call. No holidays. No weekends.
Job type: full-time, 4 days per week, 8-hour shifts
Work location(s): Midland, MI & West Branch, MI
Job Responsibilities
- Work autonomously in a hospital-based outpatient pain clinic
- See a mix of new patients and established patients with chronic pain in a fast-paced environment
- Order procedures for collaborating physician
- Conservative medication management while utilizing drug screens, pill counts, etc.
- Participate in marketing events (lunch & learns, med staff meetings, etc.)
Minimum Qualifications
- Highly motivated and team oriented
- Safe, balanced, and patient focused approach to pain management
- Graduated from an accredited NP/PA program
- Certification from a national certifying body (ANCC, AANP, etc...)
- Requires full prescriptive authority upon employment
- Current DEA/DEA eligible in the state of Michigan
Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
