Overview
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Human Resources Manager to lead our HR initiatives and support organizational growth. The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of human resources management, including talent acquisition, employee relations, compliance, and performance management. This role requires a proactive leader with a comprehensive understanding of HR best practices, employment law, and HRIS systems. The Human Resources Manager will collaborate closely with senior leadership to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with company objectives, fostering a positive workplace culture and ensuring legal compliance across all HR functions.
Duties
- Develop and execute talent acquisition strategies to attract top talent through effective sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding processes.
- Oversee employee orientation programs to ensure smooth integration of new hires.
- Manage employee relations by addressing workplace issues, mediating conflicts, and promoting a positive environment.
- Administer benefits programs including health insurance, workers' compensation, and retirement plans.
- Ensure compliance with employment & labor law, OSHA standards, FMLA regulations, and other relevant legal requirements.
- Lead performance management initiatives including employee evaluations, coaching, and development plans.
- Manage payroll processing using systems such as ADP, Paychex, Workday, or equivalent platforms like SAP SuccessFactors or Oracle HCM.
- Conduct training & development programs to enhance employee skills and organizational capabilities.
- Handle HR sourcing through ATS platforms like Taleo or iCIMS to streamline recruitment efforts.
- Design organization structures and succession planning strategies to support growth and internal mobility.
- Oversee HRIS data collection, analysis, and reporting to inform strategic decision-making.
- Implement process improvements for HR operations to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic planning related to human capital management and organizational design.
- Manage contracts related to employment agreements and vendor relationships for HR services.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of employment & labor law, OSHA regulations, FMLA, workers' compensation laws, and compliance standards.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems such as Workday, ADP, Paychex, UltiPro, Kronos, Ceridian, or SAP SuccessFactors.
- Excellent negotiation skills for vendor contracts and employee relations issues.
- Demonstrated experience in talent acquisition, succession planning, performance management, and employee evaluation.
- Supervising experience with the ability to lead HR teams effectively.
- Exceptional communication skills for presentations, conflict management, and stakeholder engagement.
- Strategic planning capabilities with expertise in organizational design and process improvement initiatives.
- Data analysis skills for HR metrics collection and reporting to support decision-making processes.
- Knowledge of HR sourcing tools like ATS platforms (Taleo or iCIMS) and payroll systems such as Paylocity or Dayforce.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
