About Us
We are a busy, patient-focused pain management office seeking a reliable, compassionate, and highly motivated Medical Assistant to join our team. This is a very fast-paced environment, and we are looking for someone who can stay organized, multitask effectively, and maintain professionalism throughout the day while providing excellent patient care.
Responsibilities
- Room patients and obtain vital signs
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
- Update medical records and patient information
- Assist providers with clinical procedures
- Perform basic lab duties as permitted
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms
- Follow HIPAA and office safety procedures
- Work efficiently while managing multiple tasks and priorities throughout the day
Qualifications
- Medical Assistant certification preferred
- Previous clinical experience preferred, preferably in pain management or a specialty office
- Knowledge of EMR systems
- Strong communication and multitasking skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment without becoming overwhelmed
- Must be dependable, organized, and able to adapt quickly
- Must know when to ask for help and communicate effectively with the team
- Ability to remain professional and not allow minor frustrations or day-to-day stressors to interfere with patient care or teamwork
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
