Physical Therapy Technician / Medical Receptionist
Part-Time with Potential Transition to Full-Time | Monday–Friday | No Nights | No Weekends

We are seeking a dependable, energetic, and patient-focused Physical Therapy Technician / Medical Receptionist to support both our rehabilitation team and front-office operations. What You'll Do
As a Physical Therapy Technician / Medical Receptionist, you will play a vital role in creating a positive patient experience from check-in through treatment completion. You will assist our Physical Therapists, Physicians, and clinical staff while ensuring smooth daily clinic operations.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Support Duties
- Assist Physical Therapists and providers with patient flow and treatment preparation
- Prepare treatment areas and equipment before and after patient visits
- Guide patients through prescribed therapeutic exercises under therapist supervision
- Monitor patients during exercise sessions and report concerns to clinical staff
- Assist with maintaining a clean, organized, and safe treatment environment
- Clean and disinfect treatment rooms, equipment, and common clinical areas
- Stock clinical supplies and assist with inventory management
- Support rehabilitation programs and patient education initiatives
Front Office & Administrative Duties
- Welcome patients and provide exceptional customer service
- Answer incoming phone calls and assist with patient inquiries
- Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments
- Verify patient information and update records in the EMR system
- Collect copayments, balances, and process patient paperwork
- Coordinate communication between patients, providers, and staff
- Assist with administrative projects and daily office operations
- Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance at all times
Qualifications
Preferred
- Previous experience as a Physical Therapy Technician, Rehabilitation Technician, Medical Receptionist, Medical Assistant, or similar healthcare role
- Experience in physical therapy, orthopedics, pain management, sports medicine, chiropractic, or rehabilitation settings
- Customer service or patient-facing experience
- CPR Certification
