Summary:
Responsible for assisting general public in the bowling center. Follows all operating procedures, safety regulations and policies and procedures.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Extending courtesy in all areas of work environment.
- Responsible for individual bank.
- Assign open lanes to customers; maintain a reservation list when busy.
- Collects proper cash and/or credit card.
- Rent shoes and help customers locate house bowling balls.
- Notify mechanics promptly of any stoppages or failures that might occur.
- Keep alert for children or customers who may be disturbing others.
- Maintain daily records of operation as required.
- Pleasant personality, honest character and the capability to understand balancing procedures.
- Ability to operate Front Desk System, typing and calculator.
- Maintain restrooms (i.e., supplies & cleanliness).
- Wash towels.
- Wipe down settee tables & table tops after use of lanes.
- Sweep floors.
- Keep bowling center clean.
Qualifications
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret documents maintenance instructions, and other related documents
- Ability to interact with guests in a professional and courteous manner at all times
- Able to functionally communicate occupational-based English, both written and verbal
- Able to accurately perform basic math skills
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Verify right to work in the United States
