We are seeking a collaborative and patient-focused Physician Assistant to join our Adult Primary Care team. This is a fully outpatient position serving adult patients (18 years and older) in a supportive, team-based environment. The Physician Assistant will work closely with attending physicians to enhance patient care, improve practice efficiency, and support quality initiatives.

Schedule

• Full-time, outpatient position
• Monday through Friday
• Daytime hours: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM or 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• No evenings, weekends, or on-call responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Support multiple attending physicians in the daily management of adult primary care patients.
• Conduct patient intake activities, gather medical histories, and perform physical examinations as appropriate through in-person and virtual encounters.
• Assist with patient evaluations and follow-up care under the supervision of attending physicians.
• Complete clinical documentation, including encounter notes, chart updates, and patient summaries in the EPIC electronic medical record system.
• Process referrals, enter orders, complete forms, and assist with prior authorizations.
• Manage provider in-basket messages and facilitate timely communication with patients and care team members.
• Monitor and communicate significant changes in patient condition to attending physicians when appropriate.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and administrative team members to achieve quality, patient satisfaction, and operational performance goals.
• Contribute to initiatives that support high-quality, patient-centered care.

Practice Model

• No independent patient panel.
• Opportunity to assist in the evaluation and management of attending physicians' patients as needed.
• Strong emphasis on teamwork, care coordination, and clinical support within a busy adult primary care practice.

* Physician Assistant certification/license issued by the NCCPA
* Current NYS registration as a Physician Assistant
* Must be ACLS/BLS certified

Wages and Benefits include:

Annual Base Salary: $131,127* - $174,836* based on 40-hour work week.

The annual total value of compensation package is estimated at $144,239** - $192,319**, which includes the baseline salary and other factors as set forth below:
