Anatomic Pathologist (Per Diem)

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Anatomic Pathologist to the group at NYC Health Hospitals/Kings County. The Hospital is part of NYC Health Hospitals. Opportunity Details:

• Review and sign out surgical pathology biopsies, excision, and resection cases
• Review and sign out cytopathology cases
• Prioritize malignant cases and submit all first-time malignant cases for daily intradepartmental consensus conference for peer review and concordance
• Complete cases in the required turnaround time (TAT) at Kings County Hospital
• Participate in internal/external quality assurance, performance improvement activities and programs, and departmental meetings, and facility-wide training as needed
• Involve in processing of surgical pathology service management and quality improvement
• Instruct residents on service of general surgical pathology and cytopathology

• NY State Medical License
• Completion of an accredited residency/fellowship in Pathology
• 1 years of experience preferred - New graduating residents and fellows are encouraged to apply
• AP/CP Board Certified or Board Eligible
