Manufacturing business in Pittsburg, PA seeks Finance Director to spearhead their North American finance organization.

Our client is a global leader in manufacturing and industrial services, operating within a complex, engineered product space. With around $200M in revenue generated across the Americas and support from an established international parent company, the business brings together manufacturing capabilities, commercial operations, and aftermarket services to provide consistent, long term value to its customers.

The Americas division is a strategically important region with a strong foundation and continued growth trajectory. To support this momentum, the company is looking to hire a Finance Director who will elevate financial leadership, increase transparency into business performance, and help drive the next phase of expansion.

This role required a presence in the office at least 3 days/ week (non-negotiable).

Description

Reporting into the U.S. CEO, with a functional reporting connection to the Group CFO internationally, the Finance Director will operate as the lead finance executive for the Americas region and a key collaborator to the senior leadership team. This individual will assume full responsibility for the North American finance function, overseeing a team of roughly 8 professionals while driving improved financial results, reinforcing governance, and enabling well informed business decisions. Primary responsibilities will include:

• Building, mentoring, and refining the regional finance team to enhance structure, ownership, and overall performance
• Acting as a strategic partner to the CEO, delivering financial insight and thoughtful challenge on operational and commercial matters
• Leading all core financial planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and detailed performance review across manufacturing, commercial, and service lines
• Increasing transparency around KPIs, margins, and operating metrics to better inform leadership decisions
• Championing cost management and profitability improvement initiatives across the organization
• Maintaining strong financial controls and ensuring compliance with both local requirements and global policies
• Serving as the key liaison with Group Finance, ensuring accurate, consistent, and timely reporting
• Contributing to ongoing transformation efforts and helping build a more forward looking, data led finance function

Profile

In return for a competitive remuneration package the successful candidate will possess the following:

• Bachelor's degree
• CPA - ideal
• 15 years of a manufacturing experience from a finance/ accounting perspective
• Proven experience as a Finance Director or CFO
• Extensive experience supporting both operational and commercial functions, including sales and service models
• Demonstrated ability to drive performance improvement, cost control, and financial discipline
• Experience operating within an international reporting structure and working closely with Group Finance
• Hands on, proactive, and solutions oriented mindset
• Ability to work in office, in Pittsburg, PA, at least 3 days/ week.

Job Offer

• $ 180,000 to $ 200,000 base salary
• Annual performance related bonus scheme - Target Bonus is $ 80,000
