Description
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a long-term strategy aligned with global objectives and tailored to the U.S. market.
- Commercial Growth: Drive revenue growth through retail partnerships, e-commerce, and direct-to-consumer channels.
- Brand Stewardship: Champion the company's portfolio of brands, ensuring consistent positioning and innovation.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee Sales, Marketing, R&D, logistics, and HR, Finance, Legal to ensure operate efficiency and quality.
- Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing executive team, fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Represent the U.S. business to the Group Executive Board, investors, and key external stakeholders.
- Compliance & Governance: Ensure adherence to U.S. regulatory standards and corporate governance policies.
Profile
Seasoned CEO with hands-on experience across R&D, product, marketing, branding, pricing, channel management, supply chain, manufacturing, finance, HR, legal, IT, and more.
Strong background in consumer, juvenile, or adjacent consumer durables, with a deep understanding of customer insights, product strategy, pricing, and channel dynamics.
Able to lead teams of 200-300 people and effectively communicate and align with cross-border headquarters, manufacturing sites, and U.S. local operations; ideally with experience partnering with key stakeholders overseas.
Proven capability to manage a $400-500M USD P&L, with a strong track record in business turnaround through product innovation, market share and margin expansion, channel transformation, and particularly omnichannel and DTC strategies, supported by measurable results.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required; advanced education such as an MBA is preferred.
More than 15 years and fewer than 30 years of professional experience.
